Pucker Up

Well I said I'd be back with a giveaway and so here I am as good as my word.

My Mistletoe Kisses brooches seem to be quite popular at the moment. I sold quite a few at the weekend.  We're getting to that time of year when requests for a kiss or two or three under the green stuff is a coming. Even better if it's wearable mistletoe as you can have that kiss whenever you fancy. Make sure you ask for a cuddle too.

I have three Mistletoe Kisses brooches for sale in my Workshop and can always make to order too. Even better you could take part in my Pucker Up Giveaway and have a go at winning one of your very own.

To have a chance of winning let me know who you'd like to pucker up to under the mistletoe and why.

I'll keep this open until Wednesday 1st December and draw the winner then. So Pucker Up and off you go.

Bad me - I forgot to give away my pucker up daydream. So first in the line must be Mr Bun (he reads this here blog now and again) and I still fancy the pants of him anyways. Right off with my daydreams - David Bowie kissing the 15 year old me when my crush on him was overwhelming and the grown-up me would dangle my mistletoe over any gorgeous tall man with an Irish accent. Hopelessly unfussy.

  2. It's got to be Colin Firth, as Mr Darcy, coming out of that lake in his clinging, wet shirt..........ooh er! My heart is beating faster already! x

  3. Oh it would have to be my husband as he has worked so hard over the last few weeks to prepare everything for my new studio as well as working all hours on his own business. He is just wonderful.

So perhaps not as exciting as the other comments, but still he is in my opinion very worthy of a good kiss under the mistletoe!

  4. Jon bon jovi...or Johnny Depp, but it's got to be his Captain Sparrow character! Why? So that I could have a big smile on my face all Xmas. Who would you choose? :0)

it's just that if Robbie Williams or Gordon Ramsey were there, I wouldn't send them packing....!

Richard Armitage (spooks, vicar of Dibley, North and south, Robin of Sherwood, god you wouuld think i watched him what ever he is wouldnt you and I do !!) would be my first choice ,ho that voice those eyes, and if he was buisy ,a Heathcliff look alike farmer who lives near me,very swoonable..... could even put up with the smell of silage for a little kiss under the miseltoe!!

  12. It would of course be my wonderful other-half as I always want to kiss him..even after 22 years! But if we are straying into fantasy land, then the list is very selective..and very long! I would have to choose 1 living and 1 dead (kissing them whilst still alive obviously!) and choose Morten Harket from a-ha and then Orsen Welles or Richard Burton (I couldn't choose between them). There were many candidates though; Richard E Grant, Dennis Quaid, Aidan Quinn, Mark Harmon, Rutger Hauer, Rik Mayall, Johnny Depp, Chris Isaak, Sam Elliot, Mikhail Baryshnikov to name a few....

  14. Gosh there are sooooo many to choose from - not that I'm a loose woman or anything!

I guess it would have to be David Tenant - mmmmmm a bit of Doctor Who (yum) a man that likes adventure.

Though I think I would prefer just a cuddle at the moment rather then the whole lip smacking thing.

    Beautiful mistletoe by the way.

  15. Well as I don't need mistletoe to kiss my lovely hubby, it would have to be Morten Harket from Aha - just been to Birmingham NEC for their farewell concert and took an obscenely large number of photos of mostly him! Now him coming out the lake as Mr Darcy............... a lovely daydfream moment!! x

  16. My lovely husband...but if he's not available Mark Ruffalo (the kids are alright) Colin Firth, Ben Miller or JD from scrubs.... is that a bit greedy????? probably but a girl can dream x x x x x x

  17. Thanks for the giveaway Lisa, love the mistletoe kisses!!
Now who to choose? There are so many gorgeous men out there!!
I see Emma has taken Chris Martin and Nina has taken David Tenant so I've lost out there! I'll think I'll go for David Beckham, if I win the giveaway do I get him too??
    Vivienne x

  18. While pregnant with my number three I developed a huge crush on Gary Barlow which, like the extra weight, has not gone even though my little man is now 18 months old!
Who would you be smooching with Mrs Bun??

  19. Oh my, I can't imagine wanting to kiss anyone other than my own hubbly bubbly. Is that boring?

Someone else may be a disappointment wouldn't want to waste the mistletoe!

  20. oohh I am so glad I am not the only one who loved David Bowey - I only used to watch Labyrinth to see him in his tights :-) hhhmm it may be Johnny Depp now however :-)

  21. My teenage self would go for Johnny Depp, oh yes please xox

    ReplyDelete
  22. Well it would have been Nigel Havers if you had asked a couple of weeks ago, but now? I think I'd rather hve a little cuddle with Professor Higgins!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Now I already have your mistletoe kisses for my Mum but all fingers crossed I might be in with a chance for some for myself.

My choice for puckering up is Dr Brian Cox. Nerdy and beautiful. He knows a good deal about Higgs bosons!

  24. I know I'm lessening my chances by saying this, but I think jus (first commenter) should be one of the winners, as her response has me in *stitches*, and I'm sure I'm not the only one!!

As for my daydream mistletoe encounter, my husband of 25 years, *absolutely*!! I am truly blessed to be married to him. And of course, he is to me, as well. :)

But for my fantasy pucker upper ... Sean Connery (at 50 or so), Paul Newman (same age), or that downright delectable George Clooney. Pardon me now while I go moisturize...

  26. Well yes, I must say my husband but in dreamland it has to be Johnny Depp, dressed in full pirate costume and make-up of course ........ I think I have just gone all weak knee-ed! x

  27. Okay I had to really think about this! Wierd! I mean of course my husband Dan is my one and only.. but other than that?

hmmm.. Matt Smith (new Dr Who)

Schoolgirl crush (15 years old): Michael Praed when he was Robin Hood. - google it!

Before Dan.. has to be Johnny Depp all the way..

Oh and I quite fancy Noel Fielding too!

  28. Apart from MrVV (obviously) - I'm torn between 2 men at the moment - the gorgeous David Tennant (though I see he's already taken on this post) and Brendon Cole from SCD.

  29. Even though I already have one of your fabulous brooches I'm joining in becasue this is such fun! Oh dear - looks like Ewan McGrogor has already been taken (drat!) so it would have to be Matthew from Downton Abbey, Chris Bearshaw the gardener or Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall!! I know - a bit odd but there is something so quirkily cute about him. I'm being greedy but a girl can dream!

I shall be putting my brooch on my coat this weekend. I get such lovley comments about it. Thanks

  30. Very spookily, I too was a 15 year old called Lisa having daydreams about Davd Bowie and kissing...!

    It was long ago...

Had a lovely afternoon, quite coincidentally, reliving that dream from all those yearsa go, listening to my "Pin Ups" CD - on special at Amazon, £4.99 I think! I've not listened to that album for nearly 20 years but I still new all the key changes, song breaks, saxaphone solos (drool!)!

  31. It's not the most original answer, but my choice would be George Clooney. Or, if I'm being greedy (and in daydreams I reckon anything goes!) I'd find my holy trinity of George, Brad and Johnny waiting beneath the mistletoe x

    ReplyDelete
  32. it has got to be Lenny Henry as I just think he is gorgeous and he makes me laugh!!!!!! or i wouldn't mind David Tennant either!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. My pick would have to be the beautiful Michael Buble - so after he had kissed me under the mistletoe he would then sing to me.......oh dear a girl can dream.....

    ReplyDelete
  34. It would definitely be the hubby! I love him to pieces! Thanks for the kissably cute giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  35. It will most definitely have to be the man I am marrying this December 22nd!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment. I read all of them and really appreciate you taking the time to say hello.
I always try to get back and reply, but sometimes this may take a bit longer as pets and children always seem to need attention around here.
